COLONEL, Dubbed the "Tasmanian Devil" for his need chew his houses into scrap lumber - Colonel is an incredibly enthusiastic wheel dog that is loved for both his heart and his ability to be a dork.

ALAMO, Alamo has been an all-star this winter with great runs in the Kusko and also down in Wyoming. He's sure to impress on this year's Iditarod team.

CALL, Is a wild man! He loves attention and isn't shy about anything - Jeff was very impressed with his rookie run in 2007.

CHARLES, Big, goofy and loveable, this will be his second trip to Nome. He's an exceptionally hard worker that won't stop pulling until he gets to the burled arch!

DOLLAR, Although she looks all business, when not on the trail Dollar is actually a bit of a silly girl - making her one of Dave's favorites! She ran the Kusko and the Stage Stop this year.

DEETS, Deets sat out the 2007 race due to an injury, but he will be a great addition to this year's team. Look for him barreling down the trail with his brother Call. (They're both part of the "Lonesome Dove" litter.)

DUBLIN, Dublin is one of the two dogs that will represent the "irish" litter in this year's race. His work ethic is unmatched.

GUINESS, Just like the beer "My Goodness, My Guiness". Nuff said. (And she's a girl!)

KLARNEY, Not one that likes to go slow, she'll scream at you (literally) when the speed is not fast enough for her. She was the MVP of last year's Iditarod puppy team. JJ will be glad she made the cut for Jeff's team this year.

SHANNON, Described by Jeff as "perfect" in wheel and great in lead, Shannon is also known as the best cuddler in kennel. A seasoned veteran of other races, this will be her rookie Iditarod run.

MAVERICK, Just like the character in Jeff's favorite movie, "Top Gun", Maverick is the man. He feels the need, the need - for speed!

TEDDY, Very smooth in harness, Teddy is another team cheerleader - always screaming to go!

ROSS, Ross is the sole member of the "Friends" litter to make Jeff's team this year. Always happy, and a handler favorite, this guy was another star from last year's Iditarod puppy team.

SOLOMON, Solomon is the biggest dog in the team and loved by everyone. He just likes to EAT - anything that's put in front of him, oh - he likes to run too.

SUSSEX, Sussex was on this year's Kuskokwim 300 team - so you know that when the going gets tough, Sussex gets going. He is a brother to teammate Charles.

TITAN, Easy to spot and quite unforgettable because of those goofy uneven ears, this long-legged guy is good in lead - and just a lot of fun to have around.

BERKELEY, Jeff has described Berkeley as a dog on cat-nip! Now a seasoned leader, she will be a great addition to this year's team.

VIPER, Long-legged and handsome, he is brother to Top Gun littermate Maverick. Put the two of these guys together and you've got yourself a husky version of "Team Shake N' Bake"!!!
